A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE READOPTING THE CENTRAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo
Grande has prepared a general plan report together with a general
plan map and has recommended the readoption of the Central Business
District Element of the General Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did review the Central Business
District Element of the General Plan report and map on January 27,
1970, and did find the plan to be valid as originally adopted by
the City Council on October 26, 1965 by Resolution No. 669.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GR?\NDE DOES HEREBY RESO.L"V'E AS FOLLOWS:
Section 10 The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
does hereby find and determine that the public interest, convenience
and necessity require that the Central Bu.siness District Element of
the General Plan report and map be readopted.
Section 2. The City Council. of the City of Arroyo Grande
does hereby readopt the Central Business District Element of the
General Plan together with the maps and descriptive material which
constitutes the Cent.ral B"l..\siness District of the General Plan.
On motion of Councilman l,evine , seconded by
Councilman Talley and on the following roll call vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Schlegel, Levine, Talley and
Mayor Thompson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Wood
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 27th day
of January, 1970.
