RESOLUTION NO. 845
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE
CURBS, GUTTERS AND DRIVEWAY APRONS AND IMPROVE-
MENTS FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE INSTALLED
CURBS, GUTTERS AND DRIVEWAY APRONS.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Arroyo
Grande has reported to the City Council that more than 50% of
concrete curb, gutter and driveway aprons are installed on the
south side of Grand Avenue between Alpine Street and the Freeway
on ramp.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby finds, in accordance
with the report of said Superintendent of Streets, and instructs
said officer to notify the owners or persons in possession of the
property fronting on the south side of Grand Avenue as listed
above, in which no concrete curbs, gutters or driveway aprons
have been constructed theretofore, to construct, or cause to be
constructed, concrete curbs, gutters and driveway aprons in
front of his said property, and the improvements for the proper
functioning of the installed curbs, gutters and driveway aprons.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilman
Talley and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Schlegel, Levine, Wood, Talley and
Mayor Thompson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of
November, 1969.
