RESOLUTION NO. 838
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO SIGN AGREEMENT TO EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande as follows:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to sign the Agreement to exchange real property, a
copy of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit IIAII and by this
reference made a part hereof.
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman
Levine and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
. AYES: Councilmen Schlegel, Levine, Wood and

NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Smith
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of
September, 1969.

I, Polly S.Miller, City Clerk of the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 838 is a true, full and
correct copy of said resolution passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 10th day of September, 1969.

A G R E E M E N T
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande is empowered under Govern-
ment Code, Section 37351 to purchase, lease, exchange, or receive
such real property situated inside or outside the city limits as is
necessary or proper for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has an interest in certain
real property designated "City Property" and more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the above referred to real property is serving no
useful prupose to the City of Arroyo Grande at the present time,
and it would be to the advantage of the City of Arroyo Grande to
exchange said property for certain property owned by Mr. L. Young
designated as "Young's Property" and more particularly described
in Exhibit "B" which is attached hereto;
NOW THEREFORE IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Arroyo Grande hereby agrees to convey its
interest in the property described in Exhibit "A" to
Mr. L. Young,
2. Mr. L. Young agrees to convey to the City of Arroyo Grande
that certain real property described in Exhibit "B ".
3. It is understood and agreed that the above referred to
exchange shall not be completed until the City of Arroyo
Grande is in a position to secure a Policy of Title Insu-
rance or a Title Report on the property herein agreed to
be conveyed to said City, and that said Policy. of Title
Insurance or Title Report shall be approved by the Arroyo
Grande City Attorney.
