RESOLUTION NO. 821
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE
SIDEWALKS AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PROPER
FUNCTIONING OF THE INSTALLED SIDEWALKS.
WHEREAS, the superintendent of Streets of the City of
Arroyo Grande hds reported to the City Council that more than fifty
per cent (50%) of concrete sidewalks on the east side of South Rena
street between Grand Avenue and Dodson Way are installed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby finds, in
accordance with the report of said superintendent of Streets, and
instructs said officer to notify the owners or pers~in possession
of the properties fronting on those portions of city streets as
listed above in which no concrete sidewalks have been constructed
theretofore, to construct, or cause to be constructed, concrete
sidewalks in front of his said property, and the improvements for
the proper functioning of the installed concrete sidewalks.
On motion of councilman schlegel, seconded by councilman
Levine, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen schlegel, Levine, Smith and
Mayor Thompson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Wood
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of
April, 1969.
