~SOtUTION NO. 810
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA STATE i
DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS TO CONDUCT A STUDY IN ORDER
TO OFFICIALLY QUALIFY HIGHWAY 101 WITHIN THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AS A SCENIC HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council is interested in the beauti-
fication of Highway 101; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has
designated Highway 101 as a Scenic Corridor; and
WHEREAS, the California State Division of Highways is
agreeable to conducting a study upon request,
NOW, THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council of the City of A~royo Grande hereby
requests that the California State Division of Hignways conduct a
study qualifying Highway 101 within the City of Arroyo Grande as a
Scenic Highway.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman
Thompson, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Smith and Mayor Wood
NCES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of
December, 1968.

County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify
