RESOLUTION NOo 809
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ACCEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS'
RESOLUTION NO. 68-582 REGARDING ENTERING INTO
COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY
OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis Obispo and the City of
Arroyo Grande have the legal power to advertise for and purchase
needed supplies, materials and equipment; and
WHEREAS, Sections 6500 through 6514 of the Government
Code authorize public agencies to exercise jointly any power
which such agencies have i~ common; and
WHEREAS, a cooperative agreement between the County of
San Luis Obispo and the City of Arroyo Grande for the purchase of
petroleum products would result in substantial savings to the
County and the City of Arroyo Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE:
r. That the City of Arroyo Grande accept the terms and
conditions of the certain offer to enter into a cooperative pur- .
chasing agreement included in the San Luis Obispo County Board of
Supervisors' Resolution No. 68-582 and hereby authorizes approval
of said Agreemento
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman
Thompson, and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Smith and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of
November, 1968.

County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that
