RESOLUTION NO. 805
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RESTRICTING PARKING ON A
PORTION OF VALLEY ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is,
by ordinance, per.mitted to establish Restricted Parking on City
Streets, and
WHEIE~ it appears necessary and desirable to restrict
parking on a portion of Valley Road at the location described below.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, that no parking between the hours of 8:00 A.M.
and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, bus loading excepted, be per.mitted
on the northesterly side and the southwesterly side of Valley Road
extending 1050 feet southeasterly from the northwesterly corner of
Valley Road Senior High School property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all neces-
sary signs along said portion of Valley Road to indicate the restri-
cted area as above set forth.
On motion of Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman
Schlegel, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Smith and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this lOth day of
September, 1968.
