! RESOLUTION NO. 1304

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF
MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE
CURRENT FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, B68, AND
FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES FOR SUCH FISCAL YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AS FOLLOWS:

1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the
taxable property within the City of Arroyo Grande, California, as revenue
to carryon the various departments is hereby fixed as the sum of
$138,922.62.
2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purpose of raising said sum
of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property
within said City as revenue to carryon. the various departments of said
City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1968, the rate of taxes is
hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on 011 taxable property within
the said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1968, at the rate
of $1.33 upon each $100.00 of assessed valuation of the said property
ae assessed by the Assessor of the County of. San Luis Obispo, State of
. California, and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said County.
3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is passed and adopted
pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the State of California entitled
"An Act to Provide for the Levy and Collection of Taxes Under the Laws
of the State of California, Except Municipal Corporations of the First
Class, and to Provide for the Consolidation and Aboliton of Certain
Municipal Officas, and to Provide that their Duties may be Performed by
Certain Officers of the County, and Fixing the Compensation to be Allowed
for such County Officers for Service to be Rendered to such Municipal
Corporation" (California Statutes 1895, Page 219 and amendm.nts thereto).
4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thie Resolution shall, within fifte.n
(15) days after its passage, b. published at least once, together with
the names of the Councilmen voting thareon, in the Arroyo Grande Herald.
Recorder, a weekly newspaper of general circulation published and cir-
culated within the C~ty of Arroyo Grande, California,

9. This resolution shall take effect upon its adoption.
On motion of Councilman Levine, and seconded by Councilman
Schlegel, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Smith, and Mayor Wood.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
The foregoing Resolution is passed and adopted this
