RESOLUTION NO. 798
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING AND LOCATING
TWO PEDESTRIAN CROSS WALKS ON SOUTH ELM STREET IN
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AND DIRECTING THE APPRO-
PRIATE MARKING THEREOFo
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande that pursuant to the provisions of Section 4-3.09, Chapter 3,
Title 4 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code, the spaces hereinafter
specifically located and described are hereby designated cross walks.
Said spaces or zones are particularly described, designated
and located as follows:
1. That an eight foot (8') pedestrian cross walk be
installed on South Elm Street at Fair Oaks Avenue
so as to continue the northerly sidewalk area on
Fair Oaks Avenue westerly across South Elm Street
to the Westerly sidewalk on South Elm Street.
2. That an eight foot (8') pedestrian cross walk be
installed on South Elm Street at Ash Street so as
to continue the southerly side walk area on Ash
Street westerly across South Elm Street to the
westerly sidewalk on South Elm Streeto
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief of Police of the
City of Arroyo Grande be and he is hereby directed to cause the said
spaces to be marked with appropriate markings in accordance with the
provisions of Section 21456 of the Vehicle Code of the State of
California.
On motion of Councihmrnan Thompson, seconded by Council-
man Levine, and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Smith and Mayor Wood
NOES, None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th
day of May, 1968.

County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that
