RESOLUTION NO. 796
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING EXECUT-
ION OF DEED FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has entered
into a cooperative Agreement with the State of California, Division of
Highways which provides for the acquisition of certain real property
for realignment and construction of the State Highway within the City of
Arroyo Grande and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has acquired said property pur-
suant to the terms of said Cooperative Agreement;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk ~e authorized
to execute the Deed to the hereinafter described real property in favor
of the State of California, Division of Highways; said property is des-
cribed as follows:
That portion of Lot 3 of Lowe's Addition to the. Town of Arroyo Grande
filed in Book B, Page 8 of Maps in the Recorder's Office in the Court
House of the County of San Luis Obispo, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 3; thence along the North-
erly line of said Lot, North 82013'30" East 55.95 feet to a point, said
point being the intersection of a 493.00 foot radius curve, concave
Southerly, and the Northerly line of said Lot 3; thence leaving said
Northerly line and running in a Westerly direction along said 493.00
i foot radius curve concave Southerly through a central angle of 5050'46"

a distance of 50.30 feet to the beginning of a 17 foot radius curve
concave Southeasterly; thence continuing Westerly along said 17 foot
radius curve through a central angle of 6021' 02" a distance of 1. 88 feet
to the Westerly boundary of said Lot 3; thence along said Westerly
boundary North 31054'11" West 12.26 feet to the point of beginning.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman Thompson,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel,
Smith and Mayor Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of April,

I, Thomas M. Butch, Deputy City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that

Arroyo Grande at a regular meeting of said Council on the 23rd day of
April, 1968.
