RESOLUTION NO. 786
-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE PROHIBITING PARKING ON
CERTAIN AREAS OF CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, by
ordinance, permitted to establish "NO PARKING" zones; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish "NO
PARKING" zones on various streets at the locations described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, that parking be and the same is herewith prohib-
ited on those portions of various streets as follows:
10 On the southerly side of Grand Ave. extending from a
point located 130' easterly of the easterly line of Alpine
Street for a distance of 30' easterly.
2. On the northerly side of Grand Ave. extending from a point
located 10' easterly of the easterly line of Barnett St. a
distance of 20' easterly.
3. On the northerly side of Grand Ave. extending from a point
located 10' westerly of the westerly line of Barnett St.
a distance of 20' westerly.
4. On the northerly side of Branch St. extending from the
easterly line of Nevada Street easterly a distance of 20'
5. On the westerly side of Bridge St. extending from the
northerly line of Nelson Street a distance of 20' northerly.
6. On the westerly side of Traffic Way extending from the
northerly line of Valley Road northerly a distance of 32'
7. On the southerly side of Grand Ave. extending from a point
located 786' westerly of the westerly line of Alder Street
a distance of 21' westerly.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all
necessary signs along said portions of various streets above desig-
nated to indicate the "NO PARKING" areas as above set forth.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman
Thompson, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,Schlegel,Burt and
Mayor Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of
