RESOLUTION NO. 775
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE CHANGE OF GRADE OF CERTAIN CITY
STREETS (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8021, ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has
elected to proceed under provisions of Streets and Highways Code
Section 8021, et seq.: and
WHEREAS, this City Council did on the 26th day of september,
1967 adopt its Resolution No. 767 declaring its intention to change
the grade of certain city stree~s: and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held at 8:00 P.M. on the 12th day
of December, 1967 on said proposed changes, all in the manner and
form prescribed by law, and objections not having been made by a
majority of the residents residing within the area of the proposed
street grade changes and this Council now havinq jurisdiction to
order said changes and modifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby orders the changes and modifica-
tions of grades for the following named streets;
1- Alder Street, between Sunset Drive and Fair Oaks Avenue.
2. Walnut Street, Farrell Road and 500' north of Maple Street.
3. Elm Street, between Poplar Street and Farrell Road.
4. Pine Street, between Maple Street and 700' north of Maple Street.
5. Farrell Road, between Elm Street and Beech Street.
6. Fair Oaks Avenue, between Elm Street and Alder Street.
7. Ash Street, between Elm Street and Alder Street.
8. Maple Street, between Elm Street and Alder Street.
The grade of the above named streets shall be changed by
cutting and filling or raising and lowering the existing street grade
according to plans on file with the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo
Grande, 214 East Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California, which are
expressly incorporated herein and by referance made a part hereof.
On ~tion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman
Thompson, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel, Burt,
and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
