RESOLUTION NO. 774
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
. Clf'"'ARRO'(OGRANDE APPROVING ANNEXATION TO
THE 'CITY 6F ARRQ'tOGRANDEOF CERTAIN UNIN-
HABITED'TEEEITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
DESiGNA'tED AS BRIGHTON STREET ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Government Code Section 35310.1
and the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of
1939, all of the property owners ,of the hereinafter, des,cribed property
have initiated proceedings to anneX into the City of Arroyo Grande the
hereinafter described prop~rty; and
WHEREAS, by resolution the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande has heretofore set the time and place for public hearing on saidl
annexation and given notice of said proposed annexation, which notice
has been publi$hed arid posted in accordance with provisions set forth
in said Section 35310.1 of the California Government Code,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND. ORDERED by the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande that annexation of the hereinafter described
real property be, and it hereby is, approved; and said property is
hereby annexed into the City of Arroyo Grande and is designated
"Brighton Street Annexation".
Said property hereinafter referred to as "Brighton Straet
Annexation" is described as follows:
Being a portion of Brighton Avenue, as shown on the map
of the Town of Grover recorded November 23, 1892, in Book A
of Maps at Page 6, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 53 of said Town
of Grover and a point on the city limits cif the City'of
Arroyo Grande; thence South 860 45' East along the Northerly
line of said Block 53, 335.00 feet to a pointOri the city limits
of the City of Grover City; thence along said city limits of
, the City of Grover City, Northerly to a point cin the Southerly
line of Block 49 of said ToWn of Grover; thence North 860 45'
West along said Southerly line of said Block 49 to the South-
west corner thereof; thence Southerly across said Brighton Ave-
nue to the point of beginning.
On motion of Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman Thompson,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel, Burt
and Mayor Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of
November, 1967.
