RESOLUTION NO. 763
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE GRANTING AN EASEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN AN EASEMENT DEED IN FAVOR OF PACIFIC GAS AND
ELECTRIC COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That an easement be granted to Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, a California Corporation, to erect a line of poles with all
necessary crossarms, braces, anchors, guys and other fixtures and to
suspend wires therefrom as are necessary for transmission of electric
energy over and across those certain premises situate in the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
described as follows:
The 40 acre parcel of land situate in the City of Arroyo
Grande conveyed by Lonnie C. Bell, and wife to City of
Arroyo Grande, a municipal corporation, by the deed dated
February 26,1925 and recorded in the office of the Re-
corder of said County of San Luis Obispo in Volume 1 of
Official Records at page 71.
Said line of poles shall be installed within the strip of
land described as follows:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 10 feet lying
conti~uous to and southerly of the northerly boundary line
of sa~d premises and extending from the easterly boundary
line of said premises westerly 2302.1 feet, more or less,
to the westerly boundary line of said premises.
2. That the Mayor be authorized to sign said Easement Deed on
behalf of the City of Arroyo Grande.
On motion by Councilwoman Thompson;' seconded by Council-
man Levine, and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel, Burt
and Mayor Wood,
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None,
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 22nd day of August, 1967.
