RESOLUTION NO. 759
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CANCELLATION OF GENERAL WARRJI.NT NO.904 IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,916.25 DATED APRIL 4, 1966.
WHEREAS, General Warrant of the City of Arroyo Grande
No.904 in the amount of $1,916.25 was issued to the County of San
Luis Obispo on the 4th day of April, 1966, to file condemnation
proceedings for the acquisition of right of way for the improve-
ment of Grand Avenue between Halcyon Road and Elm Street; land
WHEREAS, said warrant was not filed as negotiations and
acquisition for the necessary right of way were successfully
settled and the right of way acquired without court action; and
WHEREAS, said warrant should now be cancelled in order
to return the money to the General Fund of the City of Arroyo
Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE that the City Clerk of the City of
Arroyo Grande be and she is herewith authorized and directed to
cancel said General Warrant No.904, dated April 4, 1966, and
credit the General Fund of the City of Arroyo Grande in the
amount of $1,916.25.
On motion of Councilman Burt, seconded by Councilman
Schlegel and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine,
Schlegel, Burt and Mayor Woo:'!
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 11th day
of July, 1967.
