RESOLUTION NO. 753
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF BENNETT AVENUE AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE
FOR HEARING AS PROVIDED FOR BY STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8320, et seq.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
finds that public interest and convenience requires the
disposal of certain real property dedicated to said City for
street purposes along a portion of Bennett Avenue in the City of
Arroyo Grande;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City. Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande elects to proceed under provisions of Streets
and Highways Code Section 8320, 8321 and 8322 in Division ~, Part 3,
Chapter 2, thereof;
That said street to be vacated is commonly known as a
portion of Bennett Avenue and is described in that certain map on
file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is herein referred to by
reference;
That the time and place of hearing protests of the vaca-
tion of said city street is hereby fixed as follows: Arroyo Grande
City Council Chambers, 8 o'clock p.m., July 11, 1967;
That the City Clerk shall publish this resolution at
least once in the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder not less than
Fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing.
On motion of Councilman Burt , seconded by Councilman
Schlegel , and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, COuncilmen Levine, Schlegel,
Burt and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of
