RESOLUTION NO. 739
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ORDERING
THE ABANDONMENT OF PORTIONS OF THE
CITY STREETS (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE SECTION 8323)
WHEREAS, the City Councic.of the City of Arroyo Grande
has elected to proceed under provisions of Streets and Highways
Code Section 8321, et seq., and in. accordance with the provisions
thereof, by Resolution, the Arroyo Grande City Council set the
time and place for public hearing of protests for ~ vacation of
said city streets at 8:00 P.M., March 28th, 1967, in the Arroyo
Grande City Council Chambers, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of
evidence produced at the public hearing, that the hereinafter
described public streets are unnecessary for present or future
public street purposes;
NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter
described Arroyo Grande streets be aba.,doned and it .is so ordered.

That portion of Grand Avenue between Halcyon Road
and Elm Street in the City of Arroyo Grande more particularly
aescribed as follows:

In the C~ty of Arroyo Grande, County of San
Luis Obispo, S~ate of California, the following
described real property:
Beginning at tl:e Northwest corner of Lot 4 of the
Subdivision of the Folsom Tract in the City of ..
Arroyo Grande in the County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, as shown on map filed in Book 8,
page 6 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said county, said corner being on the southerly
boundary of Grand Avenue, a street 100 feet wide, the
centerline of which is shown in Book 13, page 120 of
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
county; thence in an easterly direction 7.76 feet
along the said southerly boundary of Grand Avenue to
the point of intersection of said boundary lines;
thence in an easterly direction 158.86 feet along
said southerly boundary of Grand Avenue; thence in a
Westerly direction along the arc of a curve concave
to the north having a radius of 850.00 feet and a
. central angle of 210 10' 17" a distance of 314.08
feet to a point on the said southerly boundary of
Grand Avenue; thence easterly along the said south-
erly boundary of Grand Avenue 151.10 feet to the
point of beginning.
(2) That portion of Grand Avenue and Brisco Road
in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California according to survey
filed for record May 25, 1964 in Book 13 at Page
120 of Licensed Surveys in the office of the County
Recorder, County of San Luis Obispo, State of Calif-
ornia, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center
li.ne of Grand Avenue with the center line of Brisco
Road as shown on said record of survey; thence west-
erly along the center line of Grand Avenue North 860
45' 00" West 34.45 feet; thence at right angle to '
said center line North 30 15' 00" East 50.00 feet to
a pipe on the northerly line of Grand Avenue as shown
on Record of Survey filed in Book 11 at Page 107 of
licensed Surveys, records of said county and the south-
west corner of that certain tract of land designated

National Bank of Los Angeles to Leo Brisco, et ux.,
by deed recorded in Book 248 at Page 285 of Official
Records of said county and the True Point of Begin-
ning; thence along said northerly line of Grand Avenue
South 860 451 00" East 69.71 feet to the intersection
of said northerly line of Grand Avenue with the North-
westerly line of Brisco Road; thence along said north-c ...

72.71 feet; thence leaving said line southerly along

the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of
March, 1967.
