RESOLUTION NOo 738
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE PROHIBITING AND LIMITING
PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF VALLEY ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of t-he City of Arroyo Grande
is, by ordinance, permitted to establish "NO PARKING" and "LIMITED
PARKING" zones; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary a~d desirable to establish
"NO PARKING" and "LIMITED PARKING" zones on portions of Valley Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, that parking be and the same is herewith
limited or prohibited on those portions of Valley Road as follows:
1. That a NO PARKING zone between the hours of 7:00 A.M.
and 9:00 A.M., Monday through Frida~be established on the North
side of Valley Road between Traffic Way and the Northerly extension
of the Easterly line of California Avenue.
2. That a NO PARKING zone be established on the North
side of Valley Road between the Northerly extension of the Easterly
line of California Street eleven hundred feet Westerly.
3. That a NO PARKING zone between the hours of 7:00 A.M.
and 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday be established on the South
side of Valley Road between Traffic Way and the Easterly line of
California Avenue.
4. That a NO PARKING zone be established on the South
side of Valley Road from the Westerly line of California Avenue
Westerly one thousand feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the
City of Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all
necessary signs along said portions of Valley Road above aesignated
to indicate the "NO PARKING" or "LIMITED PARKING" areas as above
set forth.
On motion by Councilman Burt, seconded by Councilman
Schlegel and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel,
Burt and Mayor Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 14th day of March, 1967.
