RESOLUTION NO. 733
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE WITHDRAWING CERTAIN AREA
ANNEXED TO THE CITY FROM THE OCEANO FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS the area hereinafter described has heretofore been an-
nexed into the City of Arroyo Grende, and
WHEREAS said territory lies within the boundaries of the Oceeno
Fire Protection District: and
WHEREAS fire protection services for said area Is aveihble
and adequate and can be and are being furnished therefore by the City
of Arroyo Grande:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVEO AS FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 14218 and following
of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California, the areas
hereinafter de.scribed are herepy withdrawn from the Oceano Fire. Pro-
tection District;
2. Such withdrawal shall be effective on the 30th day of
January, 1967.
3. The City Clerk is directed to file certified copies of this
resolution with the State Board of Equalization, the Boerd of Directors
of the Oceano Fire Protection District: the County Clerk en~ the
County Assessor: and
4. The areas to be withdrawn are described as follows:
Tract No. 244 of the City of Arroyo Grende.
On motion of Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman Levine
and by the following roll cell vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Schlegel,
Burt and Mayor Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 30th day of Jenue ry, 1967.
