R 0712 , -- .') , "" RESOLUTION NO. 71~.__ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY :' ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, F'IXING THE AMOUNT MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR ..',iE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1966, N"D FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES FOR SUCH FISCALYFAR. BE IT RESOL'{ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01:' ARhOYO GRANDE AS FOLLOWS: l. The amount of money nec~ssary to be r.isedby taxation upon the taxable property wi thin the C~ty of Arroyo Grande., California as revenue to carryon the various departments i, hereby fixed as the sum of $143,537.72. 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purposes of raising said sum of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within said City as revenue to carryon the various depart- ments of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1966, the rate of taxes is hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property within the said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1966, at the rate of $1.33 upon each $100.00 of assessed valuation of the said property as assessed by the Assessor of the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said County. 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is passed and adopted pur~ant to the provisions of an Act of the State of Calif- ornia entitled "An Act to Provide for the Levy and Collection of Taxes Under the Lavis of the State of California, Except Municipal Corporations of the First Class, aJ:d '0 Provide for the Consolidation and Abolition of Certain Municipal Offices, and to Provide that their Duties may be Performed by Certain Oific'rs of the County, and Fixing the Compensation to be Allowed for such County bfficers for Services to be Rendered to such Municipal Corpor<ftion" (California Statutes 1895, Page 219 and amendments thereto) . 4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall, within fifteen (15) days after its passage, be published at least once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in the Arroyo Grande Herald-Recorder, a weekly newspaper of general cir- culation pUblished and circulated within the City of Arroyo Grande, California.
