RESOLUTION NO. 705
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
DEEO FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS the Arroyo Grande City Council has adopted a Resolution finding
that the public interest and convenience require the sale of certain here-
inafter described property, and
WHEREAS said Resolution provided under Government Code Section 37422
was published and posted, according to Law, and thereafter, said City
Counc i I invited bids for the purchase of said property, and
WHEREAS the bid of Donald Curzon for $26.01 dated July 12, 1966 was the
highest and best bid submitted for that property to be sold particularly
described as follows:
That portion of Lot 22 in Block 28 A in Beckett's
Crown HilI Addition to the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California as
recorded in Book A of Maps at Page 57 records of
said County and being further described as follows:
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said
Lot 22; thence South 290 East along the Easterly
line of said Lot 22,68.75 feet to the Southeasterly
corner of said Lot 22; thence South 610 West along
the Southeasterly line of said Lot 22, a distance of
10.00 feet; thence North 290 West along a line para-
llel to and 10 feet westerly of the said Easterly
line of said Lot 22 a distance of 68.75 feet to the
Northwesterly I ine of said Lot 22; thence North 610
East along the said Northwesterly line of said Lot 22,
a distance of 10.00 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the bid
of Donald Curzon be accepted as the highest and best bid for the purchase of
above described property and the Mayor of the City of Arroyo Grande be author-
Ized to execute a deed In favor of Donald Curzon.
On motion by Councilman Burt, seconded by Councilman Schlegel and by the
following roll call vote to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen LevIne, Schlegel, Burt and
Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 12th day of July, 1966.
