RESOLUTION NO. 700
RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE AND
INTENTION OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY AS PROVIDED
UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION
37420
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande finds that public
Interest and convenience requires the sale of certain real property presently
owned by the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande Intends to sell said
real property;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the time and place for hearing protests
of the sale of said property be fixed as follows: Arroyo Grande City Council
Chambers; 8 o'clock p.m., June 28th, 1966.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk publish this resolution at least
once In the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder not less than five (5) days prior to
said hearing and;
That three copies of this notice be conspicuously posted on the hereinafter
described property at least ten (10) days prior to said hearing date. Said
property Is described as follows:
A parcel of land 10 feet In width being a portion of Lots
21 and 22 in Block 28 A and a portion of Harrison Street
(abandoned) In Beckett's Crown HilI Addition to the City
of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California as recorded In Book A of Maps at Page 57 records
of said County and being further described as follows:
Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of said Lot 22;
thence South 290 East along the Easterly line of said Lots
22 and 21 and the Southerly prolongation thereof a distance
of 157.50 feet to the center line of Harrislon Street;
thence South 610 West along the said center line of Harrison
~treet a distance of 10.00 feet; thence North 290 West along (
a I ine parallel to and 10 feet westerly of the said Easterly
line of Lots 21 and 22 and the Southerly extension thereof,
a distance of 157.50 feet to the Northwesterly line of said
Lot 22; thence North 610 East along the said Northwesterly
line of Lot 22 a distance of 10.00 feet to the point of
beginning.

On motion by Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman Thompson, and
on the fOllowing roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Burt, Schlegel and
Mayor Wood

the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 31st day of May, 1966.
