RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL PF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE MAKING APPLICATION FOR CONSOLIDATION OF INCOR-
PORATED CITIES AND UNINCORPORATED AREAS TO THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, that a reorgan-
Ization be made In accordance with the following proposal:
I. This proposal Is made pursuant to the District Organization Act of 1965,
commencing with Section 56000, Government Code.
2. The nature of the proposed change of organization Is consolidation of In~
corporated and unincorporated areas.
3. The name or names of all districts and/or cities for which any such change
of orgenlzatlon Is proposed are as follows:

Grover City
Plsmo Beach
4. The names of all affected counties, cities and districts are:

A. The area should be one city in order to properly plan for future
growth and development.
B. The area should be one city In order to economically govern .and furnish
police and fire protection, water and sewer services to the residents
therein.
On motion by Counc Ilman Burt , seconded by Councilman Levine
IInd on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilman Levine, Burt and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
