RESOLUTION NO. 696
RESOLUTION INSTRUCTiNG THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS TO ORDER THE ~ONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE
CURBS AND GUTTERS ANO DRIVEWAY APRONS
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Arroyo Grande has re-
ported to the City Council that more than 50% of concrete curb and gutter is in~
stalled on the north side of Grand Avenue between Elm Street and Halcyon Road
and the south s I de of G rand Avenue between Elm Street and Ha Icy.on Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, as follows:
SECT! ON I. That the City Council hereby finds, in accordance with the re-
port of said Superintendent of Streets, and instructs said Officer to notify
the owners or persons in possession of the properties fronting on those portions
of the north and south side of Grand Avenue between Elm Street and Halcyon Road
in which no concrete cur~s or gutters have been constructed theretofore, to
construct, or cause to be constructed, concrete curb and gutter and driveway
aprons in front of his said property.
On motion of Councilman Burt , seconded by Councilman Schlegel,
and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Cmuncilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Burt, Levine, Schlegel and
Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 19th day of Apri I , 1966.
