RESOLUTION NO. 690
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DIRECTING THE FILING
OF CONDEMNATION ACTION FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Counci 1 of the City of Arroyo Grande, State of Cal ifornia,
considers that it would be advantageous to use certain property for street pur-
poses.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
I. That the property hereinafter described is necessary for street purposes
and hereby directs the City Attorney to prepare, commence, and prosecute proceed-
ings in eminent domain to acquire said property for the purpose of public use and
street purposes.
2. That said property is located in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San
Luis Obispo, State of California, and is described as follows:
All that real property situated in the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, described as
follows:
That portion of the herein after described parcel, being a
portion of Lot 14 and Grand Avenue, now closed, according to
map filed for record September 26, 1891, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said county, which lies within the bound-
aries of the land conveyed by deed recorded in Volume 1253,
page 333, Records of said county, in parcels 2 and 7 thereof:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 7 in Tract No. 10,
according to map recorded November 23, 1931, in Book 5, at
page 28 of Maps, In the office of the County Recorder of said
county, said point being in the Southerly line of Grand Avenue
as established by deed to the County of San Luis Obispo re-
corded May 13, 1913, In Book 97, at page 94 of Deeds; thence
South 86045' East along said Southerly line as established by
said deed and as shown on a record of survey of Grand Avenue
filed for record May 25, 1964, in Book 13 of Licensed Surveys,
at page 120, Records of said county, a distance of 103.39 feet
to the beginning of a curve to the right, having a raduls
950.00 feet, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence Easterly along the arc of said curve through a central

angle of 17045'39" for a distance of 294.49 feet to a point
in the said Southerly line of Grand Avenue, said point being
distant 50.00 feet from, measured at right angles to, the
center line of said Grand Avenue as shown on said Record of
Survey; thence parallel with said centerl ine North 68059'21"
West 148.44 feet, and North 86045'00" West 148.44 feet to
said true point of beginning.
On motion by Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman Thompson, and on the
following rol1 call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilman Levine and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Burt and McNeil
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 29th day of March, 1966.
