RESOLUTION NO. 685
AMENDED RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCiL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS ANO LEVY I NG ASSESSMENT FOR THE 1 NSTALLAT! ON OF
CONCRETE CURB, GUTTER AND DRIVEWAY APRONS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Super-
Intendent of Streets did on the 17th day of September, 1965, notify the owners or
persons in possession of those certain properties within the City of Arroyo Grande,
California, located at: on the North and South side of Sunset Drive between Alder
Street and Elm Street, to cause certain Installation of concrete curb, gutter and
driveway aprons to be made adjacent to the hereinabove properties; that the owners
or persons in possession, so notified, failed and neglected to cause said Install-
ation to be made; and that the Superintendent of Streets proceeded to have said
Installation done and made at a total cost of Three Thousand One Hundred Seventeen
Dollars and Nineteen Cents ($3,117.19) and
WHEREAS, the said Superintendent of Streets, upon the completion of said in-
stallation, filed with this City Council his report upon said Installation and costs
thereof, and gave notice to the owners or persons in possession of said properties
hereinabove referred to, in the time, form and manner prescribed by law, that the
hour of 8:00 P.N. on the 8th day of February, 1966, was the hour fixed for hearing
upon said report; and evidence having been received thereon,
NOW, THEREORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, as follows:
SECTION I. That all notices have been given as provided by law and required by
the Prov i s Ions of the "I mprovement Act of 1911" and that the report of the Super-
intendent of Streets upon the installation be, and it is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. That an assessment in the amount of $3,117.19 representing the in-
stallation made by the Superintendent of Streets against the properties hereinabove
described is hereby made and confirmed; and the Superintendent of Streets is hereby
directed to notify such owners or persons in possession of said properties of said
assessment.
SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets shall turn over the Notice of
Lien to the County Auditor as provided under Section 5893 of the California Streets
and Highways Code.
On motion by Councilman Levine, seconded by Councilwoman Thompson and on the
following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen levine, Burt and Mayor Wood
