RESOLUTION NO. 684
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF
LARCHMONT DRIVE, AN ARROYO GRANDE CITY STREET, UNDER
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 8323 OF THE CALIFORNIA STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has heretofore elected
to vacate a portion of Larchmont Drive, in the City of Arroyo Grande, under the
provisions of Streets and Highways Code Sections 8320, 8322 and 8323; end;
WHEREAS, notice of the hearing of said proposed abandonment has been given in
accordance with the above referred to provisions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at its regularly noticed hearing in the City of
Arroyo Grande on the 8th day of February, 1966 at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. found
from all the evidence submitted that the following portion of Larchmont Drive was
unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of Arroyo Grande that
the hereinafter described real property is ordered vacated. Said real property is
described as follows:
That portion of Larchmont Drive, in the City of Arroyo
Grande,. County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
as said road is deJineated on the map of Valley View
Tract recorded in Book 3 of Maps at page 78, records of
said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot I, Block 5 of
said Valley View Tract; thence southerly along the east-
erly line of said Lot 1 to the southerly line of said
Larchmont Drive; thence easterly along the said southerly
line of Larchomont Drive 100.00 feet toa point; thence
North 80019' West 105.4 feet more or less to the point
of beginning.
On motion by ~ounci lman Burt, seconded by Counci 1 woman Thompson and on the
following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, Burt and Mayor Wood
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman McNeil
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 21st day of February, 1966.
