RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THEC/TY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING CERTAIN
OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT FOR
A C /TY MEASURE.
WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election is to be held +0 the City of
Arroyo Grande on April 12, 1966, at which there wil! be submitted to the qualified
electors of said City the following City measure:
SHALL THE CITY COUNCIL HEREAFTER APPOINT THE
CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE?
and
SHALL THE CITY COUNCIL HEREAFTER APPOINT THE
C /TY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ?
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, California
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, OETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows:
SECT! ON I. That this City Council being the legislative body of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby authorizes
Kenneth R. Levine, Baird D. McNeil, George A. Burt and Addison B. Wood
members of said body, to file a written argument for the City measure set forth in
the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3. Division 4 of the Elect-
Ions Code of the State of California and tu change said argument until and including
the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against said City
measure may be submitted to him.
On motion by Councilman Levine , seconded by Counci 1 man Bu rt
and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, McNeil, Burt and Mayor
Wood
'NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 8th day of February , 1966.
