AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 7 OF TITLE 6 OF THE ARROYO GRAN9E MUNICIPAL
tODE RELATING TO THE ARROYO GRANDE CITY WATER RATES
AND THE LOPEZ WATER CHARGES BY AMENDING SECTION
6-7.01(a) AND SCHEDULE II OF SECTION 6-7.01(g).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTI ON I: That Section .01(a). Chapter 7 of Title 6 ~f the Arroyo Grande
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Section 6-7.01 Charges.
(a) Basic monthly charges. Wherever water is supplied and meters are
used or Installed as provided In this chapter, a hasic monthly charge shall be
made to each used. This charge shall c~ver the cost ~f water used for each month
up to 800 cubic feet.

In addition to the above charges, each user shall be charged for water
used above the hasfc minImum rates In accordance with the foJlowlng schedule
(all rates are on the basis of 100 cubic feet, or fraction thereof):

SECTION 2: That Schedule 'I of Section .01(g), Chapter 7 of Title 6 of
the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Is amended to read as foll_s:

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be In full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting thereon,

On motion of Council Member de Leon, seconded by Council Member Gallagher
