ORDINANCE NO. 112 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING CHAPTER 4
OF TITLE 8 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE
FOR ADOPTION OF THE 1973 UNIFORM HOUSING CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TR)<: CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
,SECTION 1: Chapter 4 of Title 8 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
Section 8-4.01 ADOPTION OF UNIFORM HOUS ING ' CODE
For the purposes of providing minimum requirements for the protection of
life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the general public and the
owners and occupants of residential buildings, that certain Code designated as
the ''Uniform Building Code, Volume 3, Housing", 1973 Edition, published by the
International Conference of Building Officials, three (3) copies of which have
been filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the City Clerk,
is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapteral though let
forth in thil chapter in full, subject, however, to the amendmentl, additions,
and deletions let forth in this chapter, and said Code shall be known as the
Housing Code for the City.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.,
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Spier ling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this llt~ day of February, 1975.
