ORDINANCE NO. 111 C.S~
AN ORDINANCE OF T!IE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 3 OF TITLE 4 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL
CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS 4~3.05 AND 4-3.06 THERETO
RELATING TO PROVISIONS FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF LIMITED
PARKING WITHIN SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Chapter 3 of Title 4 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is
hereby amended by amending Section 4-3.05 and Section 4-3.06 thereto to read
as follows:
SAetion 4-3.05 LIMITED PARKING DETERMINATION BY RESOWTION
The Council may from time to time limit or restrict the length of time
for which vehicles may be parked upon ,any street and municipal parking lot
including those streets and parking lots set forth in Section 4-3.06 of this
Chapter within the City. Such limitations or restrictions maybe effectuated
by resolution of the Arroyo Grande City Council specifying the streets and/or
parking lots and the limitations and restrictions on parking thereon.
Seetion 4-3.06 '!.WO-HOUR ,PARKING
Except on Sundays and holidays, the mperator of a vehicle shall not
park such vehicle for a period of time longer than 120 minutes (two hours)
on any of the following named streets and/or parking lots between the hours
of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
(a) Branch Street from Mason Street toa point two hundred twenty
feet (220') westerly of Bridge Street on the south side; and
a point two hundred sixty feet (260') westerly of Nevada
Street on the north side of Branch Street;
(b) Bridge Street from Branch Street to the steel bridge; and
(c) Sixteen front parking spaces in the Car Corral parking
lot (those sixteen parking spaces nearest to Branch Street).
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded byCouncilmBn Spierling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman de Leon
