RESOLUTION NU. 675
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE FINDING PROJECT
CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY
lABOR THAN BY BIDS AS PRESENTED
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande called for bids for certain
water line construction work between Hillcrest Drive and Sierra Drive,
and
WHEREAS, the low bid of W. M. Lyles Co. was for a sum substantially
in excess of the project engineer's estimate, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said project can be done more
economically by day labor, at a lower price in the open market:.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
That said project be done by day labor in accordance with provisions
set forth under Government Code Section 37905.
On motion by Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman Burt and
on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Levine, McNeil, Burt and
Mayor Wood 0 .
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 14th day of December, 1965.
