RESOLUTION NO. 658
RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN
STREETS IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIF-
ORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of June, 1965, the City Planning Comm-
ission of the City of Arroyo Grande at a regular meeting recommend-
ed to the City Council that certain street name changes be made, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande considered
the recommendation of said Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, that the hereinafter street names
in the City of Arroyo Grande be changed as follows:
1- Brighton Avenue and Linda Drive - Linda Drive to
be continued westerly up to North Elm Street;
Brighton Avenue to terminate at Elm Street.
2. Cypress Street be renamed Edmands Avenue.
3. Spruce Street and Poplar Street - that section of
Poplar Street or Spruce Street between Grand Avenue
and Poplar Street be named Juniper Street.
4. Cherry Lane - the section of private road extending
westerly from Coach Road be named Cherry Avenue.
5. Alley south of Traffic Way between Valley Road and
Cherry Avenue be named Bedloe Lane.
6. Railroad Avenue be renamed Paseo Street.
7. That section of street along the old P.C. right-
of-way between Cherry Avenue and Allen Street be
named Railroad Avenue.
On motion of Councilman McNeil, seconded by Councilman Burt, and
on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Wood, McNeil, Burt
and Mayor Jacobs
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was adopted this 22nd day of June, 1965.
