RESOLUTION NO. 654

RESOLUTION VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING PORTIONS OF
UNNAMED ALLEYS IN THE WALNUT GROVE ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE, COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS , on the 27th day of October, 1964, the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular meeting, passed a Resolution of Intention
to vacate, abandon and close portions of unnamed alleys in the Walnut Grove
Addition to the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of
Cal Hornia, which portiDns of unnamed alleys are more particularly described
herei.nafter; and
WHEREAS , in conformity with said Resolution, the City Clerk of said
City caused to be co~spicuously posted along those portions of said unnamed
alleys at intervals of not to exceed three hundred (300) feet in distance
apart and at least three (3) in number on said portions of said unnamed
alleys, notices of the passage of said Resolution, which sai.d notices were
headed '~otice of Intention to Vacate, Abandon, a~d Close a Portion of
Unnamed Alleys in Walnut Grove Addition of the City of Arroyo Grande, County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California"; and
WHEREAS , the City Clerk did, i.n conformity wi.th said Resolution, cause
a true copy of said Resolution to be published at least once in the Herald-
Rec.order, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the City of Arroyo
Grande, as designated by said Council; and
WHEREAS, after hearing those persons who appeared and objected to the
proposed vacating, abandonment and closing of said alleys at the time provided
by law, and said objections having then and there been satisfied and withdrawn
by the objectors;
NOW, TIlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the hereinafter described portion
of unnamed alleys in the Walnut Grove Addition in the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, is hereby vacated, abandoned
and closed. Said portion of said unnamed alleys is described as follows:
That strip of land 12 feet in width shown on
said Record of Survey Map lying southwesterly
and adjacent to Lots 3 to 7 inclusive in Block 4.
On motion by Councilman McNeil, seconded by Councilman Burt and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Wood, McNeil, Burt and
Mayor Jacobs.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution 1965.
