RESOLUTION NO. 652
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND
INTENTION TO CONVEY AND EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY
AND SETTING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS , the Ci.ty of Arroyo Grande desires to acquire certai.n real
property presently owned by Florence L. Gullickson for the follcwing
purpose: proposed relocation of Railroad Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande is the owner of a parcel of real
property described in Exhibit "Au attached hereto and by refe"ence
incorporated herein, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has no immediate or prospective use
for the property descri.bed in Exhibit t'lA~~,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The public interest and convenience will be served if the real property
descxi.be.d i:n Exhibi t HA~'I is conveyed and exc!langed..
2. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande intends to convey and
exchange the parcel of real property described in Exhibit HN~ in return for
the parcel of real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto a'1d by
reference incorporated herein, which the City Courrcil of the City of Anoyo
Grande finds to be of equal value.
3. A hearing will be held in connection with said City Council's
intention to convey and exchange the parcel of real property described in
Exhibit f1N1, at which time any person objecting tD said conveyance and exchange
or interested therein may appear and be heard thereon. Said hearing will be
held on the 22nd day of June, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. of sa id day in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of
San Luis Obispo, State of California.
4. The City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande shall cause to be published
a copy of this Resolution once in the Herald-Recorder, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in the City of Arroyo Grande, as designated by said
City Council.
5. The City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande shall cause to be posted a
copy of this Resolution in three conspicuous places not less than ten (10)
days prior to said hearing.
On motion by Councilman McNeil, seconded by Councilman Burt, and on th, e
following roll call vote, to wit;
AYES, Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen, Wood, McNeil, Burt and Mayor Jacobs.
