RESOLUTION NO. 642
RESOLUTION VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
PORTIONS OF UNNAMED ALLEYS IN THE WALNUT
GROVE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of October, 1964, the City Council
of the City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular meeting, passed a
Resolution of Intention to vacate, abandon and close portions
of unnamed alleys in the Walnut Grove Addition to the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
which portions of unnamed alleys are more particularly des-
cribed hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, in conformity with said Resolution, the City Clerk
of said City caused to be conspicuously posted along those por-
tions of said unnamed alleys at intervals of not to exceed three
hundred (300) feet in distance apart and at least three (3) in
number on said portions of said unnamed alleys, notices of the
passage of said Resolution, which said notices were headed
"Notice of Intention to Vacate, Abandon, and Close a Portion of
Unnamed Alleys in Walnut Grove Addition of the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Ob.ispo, State of California"; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk did, in conformity with said Res-
olution, cause a true copy of said Resolution to be published
at least once in the Herald-Recorder, a weekly newspaper pub-
lished and circulated in the City of Arroyo Grande, as design-
ated by said Council; and
WHEREAS, after hearing those persons who appeared and
objected to the proposed vacating, aJ:>andonrn,ent and closing of
said alleys at the time provided hy Jaw, and said objections
hilVl.ng then and there satisfied ano wHhdrawn by the objectors;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, t;h'iit. t.he abandonment of the
hereinafter described port;ion of unnam,ed alleys in the Walnut
Grove Addition in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, are hereby vacated, abandoned
and closed. Said portion of said unnamed alleys is described
as follows:
That strip of land 12 feet in width shown on
said Record of Survey ,Map lying southwesterly
and adjacent to Lots 3 to 7 inclusive in Block
7.
On motion of Councilman Burt, seconded by Councilman
McNeil, and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen McNeil, Burt
Wood, and Mayor Jacobs

ABSENT: None
The foregoing Resolution was adopted this 22nd day of December,
1964.
