RESOLUTION NO. 640
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE IN SUPPORT OF THE EFFORTS OF THE CITY OF PISMO
BEACH TO HAVE THE WORLD'S FAIR IN THAT CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Pismo Beach has applied for and has
been making notable and valiant efforts to bring about the desig-
nation of that City as the future World's Fair site; and
WHEREAS, such efforts and particularly their successful
culmination are and would be of great benefit and would promote
the commercial activity and welfare of the adjacent communities,
including the City of Arroyo Grande;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
L The City of Arroyo Grande hereby strongly endorses
and supports the application and efforts of the City of Pismo Beach
to bring about the designation of that City as the future World's
Fair site, and all persons are urged to assist in any way they can
in the success of these efforts.
On motion by Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman
Wood, and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Wood, McNeil,
Burt and Mayor Jacobs.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution December, 1964.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 640 is a true,
full and correct copy of said resolution passed and adopted by
