RESOLUTION NO. 634
RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
COMMENDING SAN 'LUIS OBISPO COONTY ZONE 3
FLOOD CONTROL CITIZEN'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAs, a Citiz~ns Committ~~, consisting of r~sidents of th~ San Luis
Obispo County Zone 3 Flood Control District, has ganerously d~voted it-s' tim~
in an advisory capacity to considering proposals for the assistanc~ of'th~
Board of said Flood Control District; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Committee has met faithfully at least once a
month to consider and discuss district matters, hold public hearings, and formulate
recommendations to th~ Board of said district; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Committee has, among oth~r things, mad~ recommendations
on district planning, guided and advised on planning theLop~z Dam Project sinc~
its inceptioa, ~ncouraged studi~s of drainage in th~ Arroyo Grande-Grov~r City-
Oc~ano area, and encouraged the institution fl)f topographic maping in the South
County are'a;

NOW', THEltEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th~ City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande that the Citizens Advisory Committe~ of the Zone 3 Flood Control'eistrict
be commended for its outstanding service to the people of said district.
On motion by Counc ilman McNeil, seconded qy Counc iIman Wood, and on the
following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Wood, McNeil, Burt and Mayor Jacobs
NOES: None
ABSENT : None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 22nd Day of September, 1964.
