RESOLUTION NO 631
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, .AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF PEDESTRIAN
CROSSING AND NO PARKING ZONE ON THE PIKE BETWEEN THE
WESTERLY CITY LIMITS ,AND LANCASTER DRIVE IN THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIIT OF ARROYO GRANDE AS
FOLLOWS :
That a "School Crossing" sign be placed at the intersection of The
Pike and Lancaster Drive on the Pike and a 10' pedestrian crossing be con-
structed on The Pike so as to continue the easterly sidewalk area on
Lancaster Drive southerly across to the southerly sidewalk area of The Pike.
That a No Parking Zone be established on the north side of The Pike
from the westerly side at Lancaster Drive to the Westerly City Limits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be and he is herewith directed to provide and install sufficient signs
to indicate that said area is an area in which parking is prohibited.
On motion of Councilman McNeil , seconded by
Councilwoman Thompson , and on the following roll call vote,
to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen Wood, McNeil, Burt and Mayor Jacobs
NCES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 11th day of August , 1964.
