RESDLUTION NO. 630
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PARALLEL
PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF GRAND
AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Arroyo Grande
as follows:
That hereafter all parking on the hereinafter described portions
of Grand Avenue shall be parallel to the curb, and angle parking shall
be and the same is herewith prohibited.
The area within which parallel parking is required is described
as follows:
That portion of Grand Avenue from the Westerly City Limits of the
City of Arroyo Grande to Halcyon Road on both the North Side and South
Side of Grand Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be and he is herewith ordered to provide and install
sufficient signs to indicate that said area is limited to parallel
parking.
On motion of Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman McNeil,
and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilwoman Thompson, Councilmen McNeil and Wood.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Burt and Mayor Jacobs
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 28th day of July 1964.
