RESOLUTION NO~ 619
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE crTY OF ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE
GENERAL PREVAILING WAGE SCALE.
The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby resolves
that the following general prevailing wage scale is hereby adopted
as the wage scale for all public works projects during the year 1964.

Health and welfare, pension and vacation pay shall be in accordance with
existing agreements with the various trades.
Positions not listed will be allocated in accordance with the ppe-
vailing wage scale.
Overtime shall be not less than one and one-half (It) times the
above rate.
Sunday and holidays shall be not less than double the above rates.
The holidays upon which such rates shall be paid shall be all holidays
recognized in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the
particular crafts, classification or type of workmen employed on the
project.
The foregoing schedule of hourly wages is based upon a working day of
eight (t) hours. The rate for overtime work shall be time and one-half
and double time for legal holidays. Forty hours shall constitute one
week t s work.

vote, to-wit:
