A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE FINDING AND DECIARING THAT A
MAJORITY PR031EST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE
"CORBETT CANYON NO. 1" ANNEXATION AND A MAJORITY
PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE "PRINTZ ROAD NO.1"
ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, On November 12th, 1963, the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grand.e, pursuant to Resolution No. 597 set the 30th d.ay of December,
1963, at 8:00 otclock P.M. at the City Hall of the City of Arroyo Grande,
located. at 214 E. Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California, as the time. and.
place at which any person owning real property within the territory of
"Corbett Canyon No. 1" Annexation and. "Printz Road. No.1" Annexation could.
appear before the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grand.e and protest
against said. Annexation.
WHEREAS, pursuant to said. Resolution and. pursuant to law there was
held. a protest hearing on December 30th, 1963 at 8:00 otclock P.M. in said.
City Hall of the City of Arroyo Grande on said Annexation "Corbett Canyon
No.1" and. ''Printz Road, No.1", at which time all persons present were
given an opportunity to be heard..
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There has been an insufficient protest to terminate
further proceedings in regard. to Annexation "Corbett Canyon No.1" and.
"Printz Road No.1", the total valuation of all of the protestants' property
as shown on the last equalized. assessment rolls being $800.00 and. the total
valuation of the entire property within Annexation "Corbett Canyon No.1"
being $15,590.00. There were no protests filed in Annexation "Printz
Road. No.1" and the total valuation of the entire property within Annexation
"Printz Road No.1" being $18,270.00. The protestants represent less than
fifty percent of the assessed. valuation of the property located. within
Annexation "Corbett Canyon No.1" and. there were no protestants in Annexa"
tion "Printz Road. No.1".
On motion of Councilman McNeil, second.ed. by Councilman McMillen and
by the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen McMillen, Wood, McNeil, Jacobs and Mayor Burt.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 30th day of December 1963.
