RESOLUTION NO. 598
RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY
OP ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING
AND LOCATING A ZONE FOR THE DEPOSITING OP
MAIL IN AN ADJACENT MAILBOX ON A ROADWAY IN
THE CITY OP ARROYO GRANDE AND DIRECTING THE
APPROPRIATE MARKING 'nIEREOP.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arroyo GrC1I1de" thC1t
pursuant to the provisions of OrdinC1nce No. 86, of the City of Arroyo Grande
the spC1ce hereinC1fter specifically 10cC1ted and described is hereby designated
for the purpose o:f depositing mail in the adjacent mailbox",
Said space or zone is particularly describedl designated and located as
follows:
A mail deposit space beginning at a point on the Southwesterly
curb line of TrC1:f:fic Way; said point being located 5 feet south-
easterly of the intersection of the scid Southwesterly curb line
of Traffic Way with the Northeasterly extension of the South-
easterly line o:f that property delineated on a Record of Survey
Map filed for record in Book 9 of licensed Surveyors Map at
Page 120, records of San Luis Obispo County, and extending North-
westerly a distance o:f 20 :feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that no person shall use said space or zone
except for the express purpose o:f depositing mail in the adjacent mailbox.
BE IT :roRTHER RESOLVED j that the City Engineer be and he is hereby
directed to cause the said space or zone to be marked with appropriC1te
markings in accordance with the provisions of said Ordinance No. 86, of
the City of Arroyo GrC1nde" and of Section 21458 of the Vehicle Code of the
State of California.

Councilman McMillen I and on the following roll call vote" to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen McMillen Wood, McNeil and Mayor Burt
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Jacobs
