RESOLUTION NO. 562
SELECTING MAJOR CITY STREETS
IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the provisions of Sections 2050 to 2055
Chapter 2, Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code
provides that each city council shall select a system
of major city streets, on the basis of greatest general
city importance, subject to the approval of the State
Department of Public Works; and,
WHEREAS, streets may be included in or excluded from
the city system of major city streets subject to the
approval in each case of the State Department of Public
Works; and,
WHEREAS, it is desired to revise the existing system
to conform to present and anticipated traffic patterns
THEREFORE, it is resolved by the city council of the
City of Arroyo Grande
THAT the following named streets are selected as major
city streets to be included in the major city street system:

AND THAT the following named streets are hereby selected for
exclusion from the city's system of major city streets:

RESOLVED, further, that the State of California,
Department of Public Works, is hereby requested to approve
the above revision to the major city street system.
AND FURTHER that all prior resolutions, or portions
thereof, establishing major city streets in conflict with this
resolution are hereby repealed.
ON motion by Councilman Jacobs I seconded by
Councilman Lee , and by the following roll call
vote to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Lee, Wood, McNeil, Jacobs and Mayor Burt
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
