RESOLUTION NO. 556
A RESOL UTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR PUBLIC USE FOR
CERTAIN STREETS IN A TRACT NO. 161 BEING IN THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE, SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, heretofore on or about the Second day of October,
1959, a map of a Survey of Parcels of Land in Tract 161, being in
the City of Arroyo Grande, and more particularly found at Page 28,
Book 6, was filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the County
of San Luis Obispo, by which certain streets hereinafter named were
offered for public dedication, and
WHEREAS, no acceptance of this dedication of public us e of
said streets has as yet been made by any public entity, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande is a city duly organized
under the laws of the State of California and is a public entity
entitled to accept streets offered for public dedication.
NOW THEREFOR, be it resolved that the City of Arroyo Grande
does herewith accept the offer of dedication to public use, together with
the improvements presently existing thereon, of the hereinafter
designated public streets, to wit, (1) That portion of Brighton A venue
within Tract 161, and (2) North Elm Street.
On motion of Councilman Wood , seconded by
Councilman McNeil , and on the following roll call vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Burt, Lee, Wood, Jacobs, McNeil
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing resolution was adopted this 9th day of October
