RESOLUTION NO. 550
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "SET BACK" - "PLAN LINES."
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 158 of the City of Arroyo Grande permits
the City Council to establish by Resolution "set back" or "plan lines "

within the City of Arroyo Grande to designate the minimum distance
back from street lines for the erection of buildings, wal Is, fences
or structures along bot~ sides of such streets; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance requires such "set back" or "plan lines" ,
to be delineated on precise maps of such streets or portions thereof
for which such lines are adopted; and '1
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has deter-
mined that "set back" or "plan line" lines must be established covering
and affecting the hereinafter referred to streets, or portions thereof.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande that the "set back" or "plan 1 ine" lines sh.own on the

Map attached hereto marked Exhibit 1IA" and entitled"
"PLAN LINE" - FAIR OARS AVENUE "
is herewith designated and established as the official map of "set back"
and "plan line" lines for the streets shown thereon and it shall be un-
lawful for any building, wall, fence or other structure to be erected
or constructed, or caused to be erected or constructed, and no person
shall erect or construct or begin or engage in the construction or
erection of any building, wall, fence or other structure within the
space between any "set back" or "plan line" shown on said map and the
line of the street in front of the property.
On motion of Councilman McNeil , seconded by
Counc i lman Lee , and on the f0110wing roll cal1 vote,
