RESOLUTION NO. 548
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED
BY TAXATION FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1962,
AND FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES FOR SUCH FISCAL YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon
the taxable property within the City of Arroyo Grande, California, as
revenue to carryon the various departments is hereby fixed as the
sum of $ 85.773.00 .
2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purposes of raising said
sum of money necessary to be raised by ta~ation upon the taxable pro-
perty within said City as revenue to carryon the various departments
of said City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1962, the ra te of
taxes is hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all taxable pro-
perty within the said City for the fi sca 1 year beginning July 1, 1962,
at the rate of $1.53 upon each $100.00 of assessed valuation of the
said property as assessed by the Assessor of the County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, and equalized by the Board of Supervisors
of said County.
3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is passed and adopted
pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the State of California entitled
"An act to provi de for the Levy and Collecti on of Taxes Under the Laws
of the State of California, Except Municipal Corporations of the Fi rst
Class, and to Provide for the Consolidation and Abolition of Certain
Municipal Offices, and to Provide that their Duties may be Performed
by Certain Officers of the County, and Fixing the Compensation to
be Allowed for such County Officers for Services to be Rendered to such
Municipal Corporations"(California Statutes 1895, page 219, and amend-
ments there to.)
4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall, within fifteen
(15) days after its passage, be published at least once, toge the r wi th
the names of the Councilmen voting thereon~in the Arroyo Grande

On motion of Councilman Jacobs , seconded by Councilman
McNeil , and on the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Mayor Burt, Councilmen Lee, Wood, Jacobs and McNeil
