RESOLUT ION NO. 531
RESOLUTION ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF CROSS
STREET, IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, COUNTY OF SAN
LUIS OBISPO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of January , 1962, the
City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular meeting
passed a Resolution of Intention to terminate and abandon an offer
to dedicate certain real property in the City of Arroyo Grande, which
portion of said street is more particularly described hereinafter;
and
WHEREAS, in conformity with said Resolution the City Clerk of
said City caused to be conspicuously posted along those portions of
said street, at intervals of not to exceed three hundred (300) feet
in distance apart and at least three (3) in number on said portion
of said street, copies of said Resolution, which Resolution was
entitled "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
Stating Its Intention to Terminate and Abandon an Offer to Dedicate
a Portion of Cross Street and Setting Time for a Public Hearing;" and
W'~EREAS, the City Clerk did, in conformity with said Resolution,
cause a true capy of said Resolution to be published at least once
in the Arroyo Grande Herald-Recorder, a weekly newspaper published
and circulated in the City of Arroyo Grande, as designated by said
Council, and she also caused copies thereto to be posted in three (3)
public places as directed by said Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, after hearing those persons who appeared and objected -rt '

to the proposed vacating, abandonment and closing of said street at Q;)

the time provided by law, and said objections having then and there ;,.!oo'
satisfied and withdrawn by the objectors. C1)

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the offer to dedicate the (~
hereinafter described portion of Cross Street in the City of Arroyo CC

Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, be and the c.c
same is hereby terminated and abandoned, and the said portion of said
Cross Street be and the same is hereby vacated.

the Arroyo Grande street system. Said portion of said Cross Street
is described as follows:
That portion of Cross Street of the Walnut Grove
Addition to the City of Arroyo Grande, lying
between Allen Street and Cherry Street.
On motion of Councilman Wood , seconded by
Counci Iman Jacobs , and on the following roll call
vote, to-wit :
AYES: Mayor Burt, Councilmen Wood, Jacobs and McNeil
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Lee
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 24th day of April ,
