RESOLUTION NO. 516
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF NEVADA
STREET .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is,
by ordinance, permitted to establ ish "No Parking" zones; and
-
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish a
"No Parking" zone on a portion of Nevada Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, that parking be and the same is herewith
prohibited on both sides of Nevada Street, in the City of Arroyo
Grande from Branch Street on the south to the entrance of the
Bank of America parking lot on the north.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the
City of Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install
all necessary signs along said portion of Nevada Street above
designated to indicate the "No Parking" area as above set forth.
On motion of Councilman Lee , seconded by
Counci lman Pence , and on the following roll call
vote, to-wi t:
AYES: Mayor Burt, Councilmen Lee, Pence, Jacobs, Hartwig
NOES: None
ABSENT; None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 13th day of
February , 1962.
