RESOLUTION NO. 512
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
STATING ITS INTENTION TO TERMINATE AND ABANDON THE OFFER TO
DEDICATE A PORTION OF CROSS STREET IN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHICH SAID STREET WAS PREVIOUSLY OFFERED FOR DEDICATION AS A
PUBLIC STREET
WHEREAS, there exists certain real property in the City of Arroyo
Grande hereinafter described, which said property is known and designated
as Cross Street, which property was heretofore offered for dedication as
a public Street; and
WHEREAS, said offer of dedication of said real property for use
thereof as a public Street was never accepted by any governmental entity,
and said'real property never has been and is not now being used for public
Street purposes; and
WHEREAS, it seem unlikely that said real property will ever be
needed for use as a public Street.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande does intend to terminate and abandon the offer to dedicate
the hereinafter described real property for public street purposes, and in
connection therewith, a hearing will be held on the 13th day of February,
1962, in the Counci 1 Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, at which time persons inter-
ested therein or objecting thereto may appear and be heard concerning their
views on said proposed termination and abandonment of the offer of dedication
of said property for use as a public Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and she is herewith
directed and ordered to cause a notice of said hearing to be published in
the Arroyo Grande Herald Recorder at least once prior to the date of said
hearing, and she shall also cause copies of the said notice to be posted in
three (3) public places in the City of Arroyo Grande.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and she is herewith
directed and ordered to cause a notice of said hearing to be posted con- I
spicuously along the line of the part of said proposed street for which the
offer of dedication is proposed to be terminated and abandoned. Said notices
shall state the time and place of the hearing and shall be posted at least
ten (10) days prior to the date of said hearing and shall be posted no more
than three hundred (300) feet apart, and at least three (3) notices shall be
posted.
The property hereinabove referred to is described as follows:
THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF CROSS STREET OF THE WALNUT GROVE ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, LYING BETWEEN ALLEN STREET AND CHERRY
STREET. i
A map or plan showing said property above described is on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande, and reference may be
had thereto for particulars as to the proposed termination and abandonment of I

said offer of dedication.
